I moved to Statesboro in 1989 to attend Georgia Southern University and I never left! The Boro offers small town charm but boasts big city amenities. Live music, theater, collegiate and professional sporting events provide nightly entertainment and tons of local restaurants make it a foodie's paradise! I came for college but decided to stay to raise my family in a safe, nurturing environment where the community really cares about its people.

I love Statesboro because of all the activities that I can do here. Statesboro is home to many selfless and caring people, and I love my community.

Statesboro has so many unique opportunities for me. I enjoy private guitar lessons at Pladd Dot Music, attending school at Bulloch Academy and riding horses at Flamekissed Farms. Every weekend there is something fun to do whether it's going to the Farmers Market, eating brunch at one of the many awesome restaurants or attending something fun downtown.

Statesboro is more than a college town- between the amazing restaurants, live shows and performances & the community events (like Scare on the Square & the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair), you’ll be entertained, no matter your age.
